Sažetak
Continuing to previous papers, in this one a new projects and realizations are presented including expectation of the PASS-NET X-LARGE project as an very important twenty countries project that will increase networking for a passive house sustainable future. The question of the architectural design and construction of passive houses and a realized energy consumption in the first passive house M4 in Croatia was raised. The first five years of experience in the first passive house M4 in Croatia were presented together with new realized houses and projects. The paper also presents new projects and realizations of family passive houses B2, CV1, D1, J3, K1, K2, L2, M5, N1 and one for a public use and a housing block designed by the author of this paper. Passive house in Croatia becomes a topic of great interest for architects and other experts, investors and builders. The use of renewable energy sources enabled the accomplishment by far the biggest energy savings in the construction industry, ensuring optimal conditions for healthy living without harmful gas emissions. Even the accomplished energy efficiency and already corroborated favourable investment effectiveness lead to new forms of financing incentives to such construction, energy standard and relevant changes of long-term energy strategies in the EU member states that is still not offered and accepted as a model in Croatia. EU initiatives and programmes like Intelligent Energy Europe, IG Passivhaus, PASS-NET X-LARGE, PERFECTION etc. should help in quicker implementation of passive house as a standard of building.
