Sažetak
Traffic and traffic infrastructure are vitally important in making Primorsko-Goranska County a distinctive tourist destination. Road traffic has the greatest impact on the development of nautical tourism because most boaters use the Adriatic-Ionian Motorway to reach the nautical tourism ports of Primorsko-Goranska County. The planning and construction of a modern network of traffic routes in Primorsko-Goranska County will ensure good traffic links with neighbouring European regions, which should ultimately result in growing numbers of boaters arriving from traditional, as well as new, tourism generating areas. To prove the correlation between road traffic development and nautical tourism, a survey was conducted in the nautical tourism ports of Primorsko- Goranska County. The survey has confirmed the need for heavier investment to the road infrastructure of Primorsko-Goranska County.
