Sažetak
Active databases are capable to react to certain events by performing some actions. Reactivity is, on the other hand, very important property immanent to agents. This paper explores the connection between the two mentioned fields and demonstrates how active rules can be used to implement reactive agents in multiagent systems. Further on, this paper shows how one such agent can be used in order to solve physical conflicts that may arise in multiagent systems when allocating scarce resources.
