Sažetak
Roughness, defined as average of mean aberation of the profile from the mean line, has a significant influence on exploitation characteristics of finished parts. The highest uneven spots have influence on dynamic strength of finished parts, especially when viewed from the recess part. Thus a knowledge of interdependence between the highest uneven spot (Rmax) and the average of mean deviation of the profile (Ra) is needed.
In this paper an interdependence between Rmax and Ra for external grinding of different materials was tested and it is shown that:
- there is a linear interdependence of Rmax and Ra with a strong correlation bond
-type of material to be ground does not influence this relationship.
