Sažetak
This lecture addresses the introduction, application and implementation of the culture concepts and practices such as the culture industries and the creative city in Southeastern European (SEE) countries.Such transfer in going on in the context of globalization and integration of the SEE countries into the EU.The contextual framework is therefore discussed through cultural globalization, cultural modernization and cultural transitions. The role and character of culture policies is mentioned. Cultural trajectory incited by cultural industrialization and liberalization of cultural exchange includes practices linked to the concepts of creative economy, the creative city and the elaboration of urban culture policies. The present cultural practices, heavily influenced by global trends, have opened up new possibilities and new approaches to the overall cultural transformation and incited the specific local cultures' responses to the globalization challenges.
