Sažetak
The natural factor method is suggested for structural analysis of marine structures. The basic idea of the method as well as its advantages are presented. The method is compared with finite element method. The accuracy and sensitivity analysis has proved that natural factor approach is more robust and reliable than finite element method. It is important to emphasize that both methods need equal structure of input data so they can be run over same input file. Algorithmic option in natural factor solving based on RT decomposition is discussed too. A simple illustrative example is supplied.
