Sažetak
With this research we wanted to establish whether there is a significant influence of some primary motoric abilities on the prediction of success in mastering and performing a gymnastic element called cartwheel. The sample of examinees consisted of 115 female students of the Faculty of Kinesiology of the University of Zagreb, aged between 18 and 22. The sample of predictor variables consisted of the 14-test battery for the estimation of motoric abilities: dynamic arch (DINZAK), insurance in arch (IZUZAK), rope climbing (PENJAN), support on horizontal bar (NAUPOR), lifting weights from lying position (DIZULT), seating position with hand grasp (SJDSDR), seated position without hand grasp (SJDDUR), dynamic legs forward on inclined bench (PRDKOS), bent support (SKOKI), hanging with legs forward (PREDNOS), long jump (SDM), dynamic balance (DINRTZ), trunk bending forwards (PRETKL), and arch (ZAKLON). The criteria variable consisted of subjective grades of professors of the Sports Gymnastics class, when the technique of performing this element was graded from 2 to 5. Relations between motoric indicators and mark efficiency in executing the situation dynamic stereotype are analysed by the regressive analysis. Variable PRETKL (trunk bending forwards) has the greatest positive statistically significant influence, and the reason for it is in the fact that the flexibility of arms and shoulder belt is in a direct correlation with the efficiency of the cartwheel performance on the floor.
