Sažetak
The paper introduces actions taken in order to establish Navigational Laboratory at the Faculty of Maritime Studies, Rijeka. The purpose of the project is constant monitoring of space weather and occurrences caused by the solar activity, as the monitoring of other influences on satellite-based positioning systems. Main goal here is correlation research between ionospheric component of satellite positioning error and related sudden ionospheric events measured using ground based, lower frequency signals.
