Sažetak
In the processes of garment manufacturing, application of auxiliary devices are valued and appreciated, but how their usage achieves savings in performing time of technological operation, and the unloading of workers has not been precisely determined. In this paper the influence of auxiliary devices of sewing machines to the structure of the technological operations of sewing of straight seams was investigated. Two technological sewing operation of straight seams of different lengths was investigated: with and without hemmer and with and without border ruler. Investigating of work methods, structure of technological operation and MTM system of basic movement was found that the usage of auxiliary devices (hemmer and border ruler) increases the degree of movements coordination, training time of workers is less, the rhythm of perform of the movement is more uniform, and the degree of visual and muscle control of movement is reduced. This research has proven that the use of auxiliary devices in the production processes of clothing reduces fatigue and loading of the worker, and the structure of technological operations is more favourable which have effect on reducing the performing time.
