Sažetak
The global objective of this grant scheme is to build technology transfer and commercialization capacities of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and Public Research Organizations (PRO) in order to contribute to sustainable regional development and industry competitiveness of high value added sectors of the economy and knowledge based SMEs ; this project will raise technological and know how capacities of the University of Zadar for provision of services needed for commercial expolitation of innovation which will provide innovators (academic, freelance or industry) with relevant know how and technology needed for development of innovative idea to competitive product. The project aims at creating capacities which will contribute to higher rate of knowledge and innovation based SME start ups in high added value sector: metal sector and machine industry which is second most productive industry in Zadar county contirbuting to overall industry GDP contirbution by 30%. The project directly contirbutes to specific objective of the Call: to support innovation commercialization in public R&D sector in order to bridge the gap between the pre- commercial and commercial phases of R&D in Croatia, and thus create a productive environment where innovation capacity can grow and develop with the resulting increase in economic activity and in employment in knowledge based industries by creating R&D capacities providing full service to innovation development.
