Sažetak
The paper presents the method for measuring antenna factor and gain of small antennas in the GTEM cell. In order to investigate the suitability of GTEM cell for this kind of measurement, the measurement results for a biconical dipole with broadband matching balun were compared with those obtained by calibration inside fully absorber lined anechoic site. The GTEM measurement results showed great agreement with calibration results. Furthermore, the antenna without the broadband matching balun was simulated in FEKO in order to calculate the gain of the antenna without the balun and to examine the influence of the balun on measured parameters.
