Sažetak
Training of elementary school teachers is one of the main factors of successful educational integration of students with developmental difficulties into regular education system. The Agency for Education of the Republic of Croatia continuously introduces programs to improve quality of education in children with difficulties in development and to coordinate the existing system with European standards. This goal is realized in cooperation with specialized institutions. SUVAG Polyclinic is the health institution where the health care for persons with speech communication problems is carried out. Rehabilitation and education attendants are the children with hearing and /or speech impairments. The knowledge of child-care workers and teachers in the regular system acquired during formal education is not adequate for the work with students with developmental difficulties. The Agency and SUVAG Polyclinic initiate the work of the mobile team with the aim to educate teachers and child-workers of regular institutions in the Republic of Croatia. In this paper it is presented the support of the mobile team that is carried out through: 1. getting acquainted with basic knowledge on hearing and/or speech impairments and functioning of students in educational process, 2. compilation of individualized programs ; adaptation for students with above mentioned difficulties 3. demonstration classes for teachers in the SUVAG Polyclinic
