Sažetak
Condition assessment of deteriorated structures is performed in order to evaluate remained safety and serviceability levels, compared with previously defined minimum acceptable ones (safety and serviceability). During assessment procedure it is important to take into account not only embedded materials, but also each structural element and structure as a whole. Accurate condition assessment is a key factor for the successful repair, rehabilitation or strengthening of deteriorated structure. It is quite often that repaired structures degrade much faster than expected due to the misleading diagnosis of the degradation causes, either there are not understood or the damage is underestimated. To make the right decision about repair intervention it is very important to define relation between materials degradation and structural behaviour.
