Sažetak
The paper presents a program for calculating parameters of rectangular waveguides and discontinuities inside waveguides. The program uses finite-difference time domain method (FDTD) as a numerical method to determine the electric and magnetic field values at each time step. Special care was given to a graphical presentation of the field components. Therefore, the program can be used in teaching electromagnetics to help inexperienced students to visualize details of the electric and magnetic field distribution inside given geometry. Furthermore, the program determines VSWR, reflection coefficient an input admittance of a discontinuity inside the waveguide, thus the program can be used in designing waveguide components, as well.
