Sažetak
The paper presents a set of examinations of the novel device for non-contact profile measurement, based on an air gauge. The main topic of investigations is the dynamic calibration and step response analysis of the applied air gauges. Though the examined air gauges reveal different dynamic properties for falling and rising pressure, the conditions of work prove it enough to perform dynamic calibration with step input function in order to gain an average value of time constant. The examined device may be applied for waviness measurement, porosity identification and, in some extent, roughness measurement.
