Sažetak
In recent years Project management developed into a structured methodology applied in all industries. Set of construction management standards exists today, which provides methods and processes for project management and on the other hand, competences necessary for effective managing of projects. The paper presents the link between two main project management standards on project called Arena Centar Zagreb: NCB [2], which is a Croatian national guide for project management and PMBOK [1 ; 4], Project Management Book of Knowledge, whose approaches are at first sight very different. The integration of these two standards was made so that maximum advantages of both standards are applied. The selected standards are mostly applied in construction projects and are complementing, which gives a comprehensive picture of needs in project management.
