Sažetak
The best way to verify measurement performance of a laboratory in terms of reliability is through experimental (audit) comparisons with other laboratories using samples and/or instruments in circulation. When all of this is then placed in different contexts of national accreditation, by comparing the ability of laboratories measuring techniques, all still inside of EA (European co-operation for Accreditation), one can also assess the capacity of national accreditation bodies to ensure common rules inside the MLA (MultiLateral Agreement). For laboratories it is important to participate in these comparisons with foreign countries. In that way laboratories ensures to their customers that deals with activities of import/export, certainty that obtained measures and comparable with measures produced by laboratories in other countries. This paper, published in n.1/2002 T_M p.85, documents how CERMET, Calibration Centre accredited by SIT since 1989, has always supported these comparisons, because they are seen as a moment of assessment and growth: different participants and experts in measurement are confronted, analyzing the results, exchange experiences to help generate positive relapse towards their customers.
