Sažetak
As a transitional country, Croatia needs to find possible ways to accelerate its economic growth and to become integrated in global economic community. The promising solution to this problem is the acceptance and implementation of the electronic business concept. But this requires some other problems to be solved. The most outstanding among them are problems of computer literacy and digital divide. Croatian people have to learn how to make a good usage of Internet business potentials, how to accommodate to the virtualization phenomenon, and how to cope with globalization processes. The new kind of an entrepreneurial spirit must be encouraged.
