Sažetak
If business is defined as a process or a sequence of activities adding value to a product or service delivered to a customer, three major issues are to be considered: the fact that a given firm is only one element in the value chain that reaches the end user, the dilemma on what the real value perceived by the end user exactly is, and expectations suggesting that virtual value chain observable in contemporary e-commerce environment will be transformed into virtual value networks in the future pervasive e-business environment. These three issues are examined and illustrated.
