Sažetak
The paper discusses the need for a new kind of analytics, one that does not operate outside of the operational business processes, but instead inside the processes, collaborating with them in real-time fashion. Main topics discussed are: the characteristics of real-time decisioning, the necessary components that make real-time decisioning work, and how real-time decisioning compares to alternative solutions. The application of real-time decisioning in the context of few common processes is used to illustrate how it can significantly improve the business.
