Sažetak
Although slowly, much slower than wanted and expected by scientists and IT professionals, Croatian enterprises are definitely entering the e-business era. But until now, almost no empirical research has been carried out to reveal the true value and the extent of Croatian e-business efforts. This was the main incentive for us to organize and conduct a survey of more than hundred Croatian companies. Our goal was to determine the degree of the awareness among Croatian corporate managers of the impact business model selection has on the e-business efficiency. They were asked about their e-business initiatives and motives, their corporate Web site goals, and their perception of the Web site efficiency. Results of the survey are presented and discussed in the paper.
