Sažetak
E-Business has become reality of nowadays. It is a global phenomenon. Via e-Business, companies can reach customers and partners through a wide variety of coordinated, customer-centric sales and service touch points – all at the speed of light. The ultimate result is competitive advantage and, consequently, increased business gain. Looking across the e-Business landscape, many companies are building e-Business sites to explore new ways to conduct business and open new revenue channels. Others use transaction-based sites to orchestrate very complex product, selling, and order management processes across multiple enterprise systems, business organizations and sales channels. In the paper we examine, based on a survey conducted among a number of Croatian firms, what is their approach in assessing enterprise e-Business needs, and how they get started and are driving the adoption of the concept of e-Business.
