Sažetak
During the first half of 2001, the globalization efforts of about forty Croatian companies were surveyed, and some common mistakes were identified that had hampered them and continue to plague them today. The most frequent observed mistakes were: assuming that the Internet is inherently global ; equating globalization with translation ; deploying web code that is not internationalized ; divorcing the globalization plans from revenue objectives ; thinking of globalization as the last step in the process ; and trying to manage globalization using only a Content Management System.
