Sažetak
In this paper we model the production planning problem with inexact customer demand by means of linear bilevel multi follower programming. We consider a manager of a production facility and several customers whose demand is partly determined by the amount of money that manager invests in advertising. Given the bilevel multi follower programming framework, manager is a leader and customers are his multiple followers. The manager makes decisions about production schedule as well as the advertising strategy over discrete planning horizon in order to maximize the profit. His decisions influence each follower’s demand, whose objective is to minimize the costs. In this way we integrate advertising, manufacturing and planning aspect of a problem into a single framework and create relationship between advertising and demand under uncertainty. We illustrate the model by simple numerical example.
