Sažetak
The multicriterion analysis, 0-1 linear programming and principles of geographical information systems are used to develop a DSS model for allocating parish centers. The objective of the research was an optimal strategy for solving this and similar location problems in terms of regional urban development. The model includes all relevant factors considering values of urban development and a new approach to the concept of the parish pastoral centres. Such evaluations, together with information technologies, represent a very useful and practical tool for the facilities that seem to be big financial and engineering projects.
