Sažetak
The article presents the pins with a bulbous shaped head and a twisted neck on the territory of the northern Adriatic, especially of the region of Kvarner. It focuses on their typological, technological and chronological variability in a more or less uniform set of jewelry and a uniform style of attire in the Late Bronze Age. The pins were attributed to several types from which the Marco type demonstrates the contacts and cultural permeations in a broader region. With this it demonstrates the paths of connections of broader and most of all different cultural environments from the territory of Lombardy to Styria and northern Adriatic. On the other hand the pins of the Šula and Velika Gorica types demonstrate the constant contact of the Kvarner region with the south-eastern prealpine area – especially with the creative environment of the Dobova and indirectly of the Ruše cultural group. This contact was natural and logical, actual and maintained. It was the route of the arrival of the „continental“ Urnfield culture elements to the „Big Sea”. The pins with the bulbous shaped head and a twisted neck represent only a fragment of this distant and confusing past, but in this work they will serve as the basic theme for the contribution of their better knowing.
