Sažetak
Quality in today’s world represents the main source of competitive advantages for both public and private sector. The quality of higher education is especially important because it multiplies on the whole economy. This paper summarizes all the activities done by the Croatian Government so that quality of higher education could be raised to a higher level, and their results. The foundation and functioning of “Agency for Science and Higher Education” is also described. In this paper results from two separated researches carried out among Croatian universities are also presented.
