Sažetak
The possibility of callus induction on broad been (Vicia faba L.) depending on the origin of the explants and on the composition of the medium was studied. The optimal medium for the callus induction on explants of immature embryos was the RM-1962 medium with 3% sucrose, 0.3 µM 2, 4-D and 1.0 µM kinetin, while the optimal one on explants of generative buds of young plants was the B5 medium with 3% sucrose, 1.0 µM NAA and 2.5 µM BA.
