Sažetak
Experiments were carried out to initiate cultures of Prunus avium. Apical and axillary buds, taken from actively growing young plants and mature trees, were used as initial explants. The buds were satisfactorily disinfected by successive use of a chlorine product and mercuric chloride. Four different nutrient media (WPM, mod. WPM, ACM and MS) supplemented with various concentrations and combinations of growt regulators (BA, IBA and GA3) were tested. The culture establishment depended on the explant origin (on donor plant genotype respectively), maturity and on medium composition. Most of the genotypes reacted best on mod. WPM medium with 2.2 µM BA, 2.5 µM IBA and 0.3 µM GA3.
