Sažetak
In vitro growth of common oak (Quercus robur L.) buds taken from seedlings or juvenile plants was studied. Short nodal segments with shoot tips and one or two actively growing axillary buds taken from 10 days to 23 months old plants were used as initial explants. Culture establishment was successful on ACM medium supplemented with BA, KIN and 2iP. Rapid multiplication has been achieved on GD medium containing a low level of BA (0.9 µM). Elongated shoots were rooted on half-strength GD medium with reduced concentrations of sucrose and NaFeEDTA an supplemented with IBA.
