Sažetak
This paper observes the rotor angle stability phenomena. Initial simulations were made on a single machine infinite bus system, to model the influence of the synchronous generator, excitation system, stabilizer and the network layout. This is later applied to the model of the Croatian power system in the year 2016, when TPP Plomin 3 should start its operation, based on the Croatian Energy Strategy and plans for the network development.
