Sažetak
The synchronous brushless generator excitation system consists of two parts: permanent magnet generator (PMG) and exciter generator. The excitation of the PMG is achieved by surface-mounted Iron-boron-neodymium rare earth magnets (NdFeB). The transient finite element analysis of the PMG with external circuit connections is presented in this paper. The eddy current losses in the permanent magnets (PMs) will be taken into account. The analysis results will be compared with the measurements on the experimental machine.
