Sažetak
Introduction of the 1993 SNA in economies in transition requires an adaptation of the concepts and classifications of the System, a revision of the concepts and classifications of the basic economic statistics supporting the national accounts, the alignment of classifications and basic statistics with international standards, changes in the process of collecting primary data, a revision of business accounting standards and practices, and so forth. The Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Croatia calculates the annual and quarterly GDP at current and constant prices according to the production and expenditure approach. By using the international statistical standards, classifications, nomenclatures and methods international data comparability is provided.
