Sažetak
Measurements of the wind-generated surface waves along the eastern part of the Adriatic Sea in coastal areas are rare ; most earlier measurements have been carried out in the open sea. As a part of the scientific and research program – „The Adriatic Sea Monitoring Program“, long-term wave measurements were carried out between November 2007 and December 2008 at two stations: in the open sea area (V1) and in the channel area of the middle Adriatic (V2). Spectral characteristics of waves in extreme sea states are presented and compared.
