Sažetak
This paper presents the development of the curriculum for teacher training programmes aimed at recognizing, training, and supporting mathematically gifted pupils. The Little School of Mathematics was organized on the premises of the Faculty of Teacher Education of Osijek University for pupils in fourth grades of primary schools who shoved a special interest in mathematics. The cooperation with teachers in local schools helped them broaden the scope of issues to be considered when trying to identifity gifted pupils.
