Sažetak
This paper presents the results of research of tractors operating in timber skidding from thinning stands. Research was carried out on six adapted agricultural tractors (Steyr 9078, Torpedo 75A, Zetor 5748, IMT 539, IMT 558, IMT 560) and three skidders (Holder C 870 F, LPKT 40, Ecotrac V). All tractors were equipped with winches. Tractors were used for timber skidding from thinnings at several working sites in lowland and hilly conditions. On each working site, time and work study was applied for measuring time consumption of tractor’s operations and for calculating some forest harvesting parameters of tractor’s performance, such as: loads, travelling speeds of loaded and unloaded tractors, time allowances, standard times and daily outputs of tractors. Direct costs and costs per unit were also calculated for tractors operating in timber skidding for each working site. The analysis of standard times, daily outputs and skidding costs was carried out in accordance with work conditions (lowlands, hills) and with the type of tractor (adapted agricultural tractor, skidder).
