Sažetak
The curing behavior of commercially formulated epoxy systems based on Tetraglycidyl-4, 4'-diaminodiphenylmethane (TGDDM) and the primary amine curing agent 4, 4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone (DDS), in the form of neat resin and carbon fiber prepreg, is characterized by parallel plate rheometry and dynamic mechanical analysis, DMA. The measurements were performed in isothermal conditions at several temperatures and in non-isothermal conditions at several constant heating rates. Based on the changes in the storage and loss moduli important transitions in the cure process such as gelation and vitrification were detected.
