Sažetak
Ability to apprehend and welcome future trends is the market demand that educated, inquisitive, special-interest tourist requires from the hotel. Hotel product is represented by the complexity of services it involves and therefore, its realization implies the need for high organizational level in managing all flows involved in creation of service of desired quality. Hotel that aims to satisfy the guest of special-interest, one or more, needs logistics to cope with the variety of multiplied flows in limited space and in short period of time. This paper aims to depict logistics of a special-interest offer in a hotel, identifying the types of logistic flows in the management of hotel functions. The purpose is to demonstrate how the quality of an offer of this kind, derives from the level of logistic concept application. Quality realization of hotel product makes it more attractive for the potential guests of the proposed interest, or an additional attraction for the guests arrived for other motives. Value of special-interest hotel product implies much more than obtained profit. When needs and expectations of particular guests are met, it reflects on the benefits for all parties in the process. Specialized offer contributes to positive image and requires constant hotel development while attention-worthy hotel product enables positive effects for both, supply and demand side of the tourism market. The paper shall demonstrate on concrete example how the level of flow-coordination results in equivalent level of hotel product and the level of guest satisfaction. The purpose of this paper is to explore the possibility of adding value to Croatian hotels offer trough product specialization. Paper submission is to be structured in the following manner: Section 1 Introduction ; Section 2 Special-interest tourism ; Section 3 Hotel logistics and special-interest service chain ; Section 4 Hotel product / supply for special interest guest ; Section 5 Conclusion.
