Sažetak
Active participating of management in the process of strategic planning of an information system at practical usage of information technologies and comprehension of social impacts of informatisation are the prerequisites of a successful business progression. The management role in strategic planning of information system is extremely important and it has been recognised in all phases of the planning. A significant requirement of the active management participation is conditioned by their perception of IS/IT importance, as well as possession of a certain information literacy level. Only by meeting this requirement, the management might be a promoter of business and information system strategic planning that shall, at the end, be melted into integrated business information strategic planning. In this work, based on the made research of the role, which management has in strategic planning of an information system, a model suggestion has been given upon which parameters it is possible to estimate the grade of management participation in the process of strategic planning of an information system and take steps according to that.
