Sažetak
Composition of the lecture is based on the applied clinical science. Current scientific results are essential and unavoidable in everyday clinical practise. Results of densitometric comparison between different sinus floor elevation techniques will be presented. The comparison was done between classical lateral approach and balloon technique and also between classical transcrestal closed lift and balloon technique. Densitometry was performed with CADIA. Modification of DIGORA software was done to perform densitometric measuremets after dental implants placement. Physical and ultrastructural bone effect comparison between Er:YAG laser and surgical pilot drill will be presented. Beside the ultrastructural level of research (chemical and SEM), histological results will also be presented. The recent concept of osseointegration quality measurement is based on new method- mapping of the chemical elements on dental implant surface guided with scanning electron microscopy. Analyzing failed or explanted dental implants surface by scanning electron microscopy is one of the current applied clinical science possibilities.
