Sažetak
The first list of all known wild bees (Insecta, Hymenoptera: Apoidea) in Slovenia has been compiled. It is based on data from the literature, a study of old collections, and field work to gather material. Data on bee distribution and biology are given for all species either from the literature or from field work. I also compare the biodiversity of bees in Slovenia with that of other countries and between different phytogeographic regions in Slovenia itself. I determined the percentage of oligolectic, bivoltine, and cleptoparasitic bees in these areas.
