The focus of the IARP 1st International Workshop on AUVs for Shallow Waters and Coastal Environments has been on designing and navigating AUVs suitable for shallow waters and coastal environments. Specific applications target shallow water fisheries monitoring, coastal studies, monitoring of environmental pollution due to industrial wastes, offshore oil field platform and pipeline inspection and maintenance.
