Sažetak
Due to the fact that the world financial and economic crisis also affects Croatia, the strategic business planning should be adapted to aggravated business conditions. Strategic planning is aimed at making basic decisions and defining major activities, in order to provide answers to the following questions: who we are, what we are doing and why, what we want to do in future, and how to achieve that. The HHI strategic plan establishes a link between the existing HHI strategy and the budget. As a medium-term plan, it is drawn up on the basis of the adopted HHI strategy, taking account not only of the targeted goals, but of a changed environment as well. The plan defines the vision and mission, establishes the goals as set in the schedule of hydrographic activity tasks and methods for their accomplishment, and efficiency indicators.
