Sažetak
Croatian Government is confronted with challenge of development of new architecture of Croatian industry sector and industry policy as well, as a part of accession negotiation process with EU. Croatian economy has to identify own niche in common European and global market. In respect of new global market redistribution and reallocation of labour intensive industries from Europe to India and China, by definition of new architecture of Croatian industry sector the Government should increase the growth of manufacturin industry sector through support of development in ICT sector. Investments in ICT and Internet technologies should be systematically supported as one of key elements in efficiency and productivity increase. Further development of availability of public sector services in Internet, which has been announced by Croatian Government, could influence future industry architecture development process. Authors are identify current state in Croatian manufacturing industry sector, analyzing the trends and the theoretical framework. Second part of the article authors are testing major hypothesis if further development of public services availability in Internet is affecting manufacturing industry restructuring process in Croatia.
