Sažetak
Business models in the financial services industry (FSI) have been dramatically changed in the last few years. Emerging business models are focusing on the individual client. Client-centric business models are based on the new paradigm: commoditized and personalized products and services and availability of the services all the time and everywhere. The new business models are based on the full business process integration on the front-end. Clearly the emerging business models in FSI are strongly enabled by m-commerce and e-commerce technologies. Despite the turbulence after dot.com hype, FSI firms succeed in using internet based technology. E-commerce business model has been implemented by traditional financial services organizations as standard component of multi-channel concept. Global FSI organizations have been implemented integrated enabling solutions in order to support e-commerce and customer relationship management business processes. The paper is addressing current state of e-commerce business model and internet based technology implementation level in global and Croatian financial services firms.
