Sažetak
Recently, the new classes of molecular descriptors – discrete Adriatic indices and variable Adriatic indices have been proposed. These descriptors have been tested on the benchmark sets proposed by the International Academy of Mathematical Chemistry and they have shown good predictive properties. Also, extremal graph-theoretical properties of two of these descriptors have been analyzed. Here, we present the overview of these results. Also, we propose a lot of open problems in extremal graph theory and QSPR/QSAR modeling related to these descriptors.
