Sažetak
The author considers the notion of chaos within the tipology of the Renaissance aesthetic-poetological notions and categories beautiful-ugly, bizzare, mimesis, creation, order, disorder, etc., in the function of change of the aestetic experience, a novel understanding of the world and nature, a new spirituality made concrete in Mannerism and baroque poetics. The author considers the Renaissance aesthetic-reflection as an important element in the historical development of the meaning of the term, contained within its various dimensions, connotations and paradigms, classical myth-poetic, cosmogonical, Platonic-Hermetic, Medieval-Christian, moral-philosophical, apocalyptic, Renaissance ontologic-cosmological and modern, and its derivations, poetics of miraculous, fantastic, grotesque, playful, combinatoric, artificial, its present-day considerations and its the moderm paraaesthetic vocabulary.
