Sažetak
This paper tries to research public expectations abut the role of religion in 9 different societies (countries involved in REVACERN project). General hypothesis would be that perception (expectation) of religion in the public sphere differs considering the social field in which it is engaged. Social expectations are explored in correlation with religious landscape of 9 countries. To sketch religious landscape of those countries indicators of religiosity (religious self-perception, belonging, and practice) were used. This was examined through people’s perceptions and attitudes on the role of religion in the issues like development of democracy, education, alleviation of social needs, participation in public life, welfare, position of discriminated communities, social institutions and it’s financing. Data that was used is from Aufbruch research project.
