Sažetak
This work investigated the susceptibility of a linear IC voltage regulator, designed for automotive applications, against conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI). Firstly, DC and S-parameter measurements are done. The comparison to simulations led to improved model parameters and validated the circuit simulation model. Next, the Direct Power Injection (DPI) method is applied to investigate the susceptibility of the regulator. Measurements are carried out on-wafer and compared to simulations. The observed effects are analyzed and explained by using transient (large-signal) simulations.
