Sažetak
The fundamental research activity behind this thesis is the comparative analysis of the principle and constructive approaches to explanation of paradoxical phenomena in quantum physics, especially the EPR and ‘teleportation’ correlations, and their connotations for the philosophical conceptualisation of material reality in general. The said comparison demonstrates that the principle explanatory models considered (C. Fuchs, J. Bub) fail to overcome the explanatory deficit compared to the constructive ones. They abandon the foundation of the realist explanatory strategy and are forced to admit the barrier to epistemic access as to how what is deemed explanatory could be so. The constructive explanatory models (D. Bohm, T. Maudlin) have proven more successful in overcoming the said problem, but not without having to concede some traditional ground. They are forced to introduce the objective nomological structure into the conceptual framework (fundamental laws of temporal evolution). They provider deeper explanations helped by the structures that constrain the possibilities of experience, whilst themselves not directly epistemically accessible. So as to enable the construction of a unified explanatory narrative including the phenomena from contemporary quantum physics the realist explanatory strategy is forced to introduce the changes that the objects, classically defined purely by their spatial extension, can endure and suffer from interaction with the conscious agents, into the conceptual framework of everyday experience.
